In its 7th edition, the Conference on Simulation and Military Technology is one of the most important events in the Defence and Security sector in Brazil, showcasing a varied program to meet the growing needs of its participants and guests. CSTM covers defence and security technologies applied to the military and civilian sector.
The Defence industry is one of the main generators of technology in a country and in Brazil, about 60% of the research done in the sector end up impacting other areas, according to the surveys presented by the Ministry of Defence. With this, the event was designed to promote the debate of Defence and Security issues between the Armed Forces and Public Security, industry sectors, academia, public and private institutions, Brazilian society and government, as well as generating business.
The 2018 edition of CSTM is the venue for important discussions between authorities, military and representatives of the three spheres of public safety, experts, corporate security and industry on the current and future scenarios of the Strategic Programs of the Armed Forces. Issues related to the second phase of implementation of the Border Monitoring System (SISFRON) will be released.
The multifunctional approach of military technology presented by CSTM enables the participating public to know up close technologies and equipment in the state of the art, in addition to one of its areas, Military Simulation, a powerful tool to support teaching and military training.
